Who is Josman Mbella? A singer, percussionist, drummer, and bass player hailing from Cameroon, Central Africa. Josman Mbella is the founder of Pula-Pula Band which means “the melting pot” in his native Douala language, or “pot-pourri” in French. He combines traditional Doula Music in fusion with Jazz, and powerful scat singing. The melting pot phenomenon has defined his style of music, as it goes back to the typical blues from the Doula tribe known as Essewe. Before relocating to Los Angeles, he toured the world with his Award winning African troupe, playing alongside prominent musicians in France , U.S. and other parts of the world.
